Rangoli & Diya Workshop

This event has been moved to Storywalk on Thurs Oct 17th and Fri Oct 18th as a walk-up event. You can do the workshop even if you have not signed up for Storywalk those nights. This interactive and educational workshop provides insights into Indian culture. Participants will learn how to make rangoli, an art form that is used to welcome prosperity and happiness during the Diwali season. Attendees will also explore Diya, or lamps, workshop that will allow participants to make and decorate clay lamps that are lit during Diwali to signify triumph of light over darkness.
